World Chess Launches New Photo Book to Celebrate FIDE's 100(th) Anniversary

World Chess plc (LSE: CHSS), a leading chess organisation committed to
enhancing the global mass market appeal of chess by introducing a variety of
innovative chess-related activities, is excited to announce the launch of its
new book titled "Chess Players, from Charlie Chaplin to the Wu-Tang Clan" in
partnership with FIDE (the International Chess Federation) to celebrate its
100(th) anniversary.

Chess Players, from Charlie Chaplin to the Wu-Tang Clan is a visual and
narrative collection of rare images, published in collaboration with FUEL
Publishing, to celebrate chess through the ages. From Hollywood sets to
avant-garde art scenes, World Chess and FIDE are celebrating FIDE's 100(th)
anniversary by impactfully demonstrating, through design and imagery, how
chess has been shaped by key cultural figures throughout history.

The book will go on sale in September and will be sold in bookshops around
the world as well as on World Chess' website and at its World Chess Club
Berlin. There will also be a limited edition of 300 books, which includes a
gift box and a unique photo signed by a World Chess Champion for sale. This
new title adds to World Chess' merchandising programme, allowing chess fans
the ability to purchase exclusively designed and curated chess items, outside
the standard chess boards.
