Issue of Equity

World Chess (LSE: CHSS), a leading chess organisation committed to enhancing
the global mass market appeal of chess by introducing a variety of innovative
chess-related activities, announces the issuance of 717,948 new ordinary
shares of 0.01p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at the
price of 3.9p per Ordinary Share to a senior consultant in lieu of
compensation.

Application is being made for the 717,948 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted
to the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock
Exchange which is expected to be on or around 20 January 2025. These shares
rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company.  Following
the issue of the 717,948 new Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued ordinary
share capital shall consist of 692,441,987 Ordinary Shares.

This figure of 692,441,987 represents the total voting rights in the Company
and should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by
which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or
a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct
Authority's Disclosure Guidance & Transparency Rules.
