Wall Street's main indexes regained footing on Thursday, recovering from a brief
shock after the resignation of Liz Truss as prime minister of the United
Kingdom, as focus moved back to positive forecasts from IBM and AT&T.  .N 
    At 11:41 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.98% at
30,721.97. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.76% at 3,723.38 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 1.30% at 10,819.664.
