July 30 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks gained on Thursday as Microsoft's stellar forecasts soothed concerns about massive AI spending by companies, while investors also parsed fresh GDP and inflation data a day after the Federal Reserve's rate decision. .N
     
At  11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.23% at 51,713.13. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.76% at 7,371.63, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.94% at 24,917.80.
