** Shares of glass maker Xinyi Glass Holdings  0868.HK 
leads rise in new joiners to the Hang Seng Index  .HSI , surging
8.5% to HK$30.05, the biggest daily percentage gain since March
10
    ** Hang Seng Indexes Company says Xinyi Glass, Li Ning and 
China Merchants Bank to be added to Hang Seng Index  .HSI

    ** Stock of Li Ning  2331.HK  jumps 6.3% to HK$94.80, the
biggest daily percentage gain since Aug. 10, and Hong Kong
shares of China Merchants Bank  3968.HK  surges 4.7% to HK$67.80
    ** JD Logistics  2618.HK , which will join the Hang Seng
China Entperrises Index  .HSCE , rises 3.6%; Trip.com  9961.HK 
which will join the Hang Seng Tech Index  .HSTECH , climbs 3.9% 
    ** The Hang Seng Tech Index  .HSTECH  jumps 4.3%%
    ** The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index  .HSCE  surges 2.8%
and the benchmark index  .HSI  rises 2.4%
