April 19 (Reuters) - Xinyi Solar Holdings Ltd  0968.HK : 
    * Proposes rights issue of 674.9 million right shares at 
hk$2.24 per rights share on basis of one rights share for every 
ten existing shares 
    * About 65% of net proceeds will be used to develop and 
construct new utility-scale ground mounted solar farms for group 
    * About 15% of net proceeds will be used to expand, renew 
and upgrade group's solar glass production facilities
