    ** Co, which provides protective films and coatings, posted
4.5% rise in total Q2 rev, helped by 55.5% growth in U.S. rev
    ** Profit rose 17.6% to $3 mln; gross margin improved to

    ** Co's stock listed on TSX Venture exchange  XPELu.V  rose
~37% to $7.9, hitting a record high
    ** On Aug. 16, co said it had applied for voluntary
