Australia's XPON Technologies climbs 7-week peak on revenue growth

** Shares of XPON Technologies  XPN.AX  rise as much as
10.3% to A$0.16, their highest level since June 2
    ** Cloud-based tech firm says annualised recurring revenue
as of June reached A$16.4 million ($11.35 million), a 78% rise

    ** Quarterly revenue rises 63% to A$3.7 million 
    ** During the quarter, XPON won eight new contracts and
expanded 11 existing customers 
    ** Trading volumes at thrice their 30-day average, with

    ** Stock records its best intraday session since July 1
    ** XPN down by nearly a third this year as of last close
