Britain's Frasers in bid to takeover Norway's XXL ASA
LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - British sportswear and fashion
group Frasers FRAS.L on Friday launched a bid to takeover
Oslo-listed sporting goods retailer XXL ASA XXL.OL , offering
10 NOK ($0.9044) a share for the equity it does not own.
Frasers, majority owned by Mike Ashley, is XXL's second
largest shareholder, holding 25.8% of its issued share capital.
($1 = 11.0566 Norwegian crowns)
