VYNE Therapeutics rises on positive lung drug data in animal study

** Shares of drug developer VYNE Therapeutics Inc VYNE.O
rise 10.54% to $3.46 premarket
** Co says its experimental drug to treat a type of lung
disease showed statistically significant reductions in lung
scarring, compared with placebo in a pre-clinical animal study
** The drug candidate, VYN201, is being developed to treat
idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis characterized by lung scarring and
difficulty breathing - VYNE
** VYN201 treatment also resulted in significant
improvements in blood oxygen levels and functional lung volume
or the volume of air remaining in the lungs after a normal,
passive exhalation - VYNE
** As of last close, stock up ~16% YTD
