This is to inform you that Shri Ravindra Pandey (DIN: 07188637) has been appointed as Nominee Director (Non-Executive) of State Bank of India on the Board of the Bank with effect from November 3, 2020. 
 
The above appointment is as per the nomination received from the State Bank of India under the Yes Bank Reconstruction Scheme 2020 notified by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide notification No. G.S.R. 174(E) dated March 13, 2020 ("Scheme") in place of Shri Swaminathan Janakiraman who has resigned as Nominee Director as already informed earlier. The appointment of Shri Ravindra Pandey was recommended by the Nomination & Remuneration Committee to the Board and approved by the Board.
 
A brief profile of Shri Ravindra Pandey is enclosed as required under the Listing Regulations.

Brief profile of Shri Ravindra Pandey
 
Shri Ravindra Pandey, Deputy Managing Director (Strategy) & Chief Digital Officer, State Bank of India ("SBI"), is a career banker with deep domain expertise, extensive knowledge and leadership experience in Digital Transformation, Retail, SME, Corporate and International Banking, during his career spanning more than 3 decades.
 
Shri Ravindra Pandey had a varied experience in banking business in multiple leadership roles within SBI across the country and abroad. He worked as the Chief General Manager of Jaipur Circle and as Chief General Manager (Payments & Special Projects) of SBI. His international experience includes Chief Executive Officer, SBI, Paris (France) operations.
 
He is not related to any other Director of the Bank and is not debarred from holding office of Director by virtue of any order of Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other such authority.
