U.S. stock indexes slipped on Thursday as investors worried that a resilient
economy would give the Federal Reserve more room to raise interest rates,
although a surge in Nvidia shares helped lift some of that gloom.  .N 
    At 13:52 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.32% at
32,939.15. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.06% at 3,988.64 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.01% at 11,507.834.
