Korea Zinc shareholders vote in directors proposed by management

SEOUL, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Shareholders of Korea Zinc
 010130.KS , the world's largest zinc refiner, voted in favour
of seven board members nominated by current management, results
at a shareholders' meeting on Thursday showed. 
    The vote was held after Korea Zinc management excluded major
shareholder Young Poong's  000670.KS  shares, saying they do not
have voting rights. 
    Korea Zinc has been the subject of a takeover battle since
September.
