S.Korea buys 2,000 T of zinc for October arrival

SEOUL, Aug 4 (Reuters) - South Korea bought a total of 2,000 
tonnes of zinc for October arrival via tenders that closed on 
Thursday, state-run Public Procurement Service said on its 
website (http://www.g2b.go.kr). 
    Details of the purchase are as follows: 
    TONNES(M/T)   ORIGIN       SUPPLIER/PREMIUM(PER TONNE) 
         1,000    South Korea  Youngpoong Corp/ $197 
         1,000    South Korea  Youngpoong Corp/ $197 
     
    *Note: The above premiums were made over London Metal 
Exchange (LME) prices. The zinc products should arrive by Oct. 
27 at the port of Busan.
