SEOUL, Sept 21 (Reuters) - South Korea bought 3,500 tonnes
of copper and 1,000 tonnes of zinc for November and reissued a
tender to seek another 1,000 tonnes of zinc, the state-run
Public Procurement Service said on its website (www.g2b.go.kr).
The agency sought to buy a combined 2,000 tonnes of zinc via
tenders that closed on Wednesday, but it passed to purchase
1,000 tonnes of zinc due to low participation.
The reissued tender for zinc with a minimum purity of 99.995
percent will close at 2 pm (0500 GMT) on Sept. 27 and bids will
open an hour after the deadline.
