Argentina's San Matias Pipeline secures $900 mln loan for Vaca Muerta-Rio Negro link, La Nacion reports Aug 28 (Reuters) - Argentina's San Matias Pipeline consortium secured a $900 million project finance loan to build a pipeline from the Vaca Muerta shale patch to the Rio Negro coast, newspaper La Nacion reported on Friday, a key step in the country's drive to launch liquefied natural gas exports.
The group, which includes Pan American Energy, YPF, Pampa Energia, Harbour Energy and Golar LNG, has reportedly said the 472-km pipeline is expected to cost $1.3 billion in total, start construction in August and be completed by mid-2028, supplying gas to floating LNG vessels.
