U.S. stocks rose in choppy trading on Tuesday as a bruised technology sector
recovered and industrial stocks gained on hopes of a U.S.-China trade deal, but
declines for Boeing Co  BA.N  and Home Depot Inc  HD.N  weighed on the Dow.  .N 
    At 12:20 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.25
percent at 25,450.75. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.62 percent at 2,743.25 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was up 1.01 percent at 7,273.75.
