U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday as technology stocks bounced back after a steep
selloff in the previous session and hopes of progress in the U.S.-China trade
talks boosted industrials, even though a decline in Apple Inc  AAPL.O  curbed
gains.  .N 
    At 11:24 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.37
percent at 25,481.29. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.66 percent at 2,744.21 and the
Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was up 1.33 percent at 7,296.319.
