U.S. stock index futures jumped about 1% on Thursday as China sounded upbeat
about its trade talks with the United States, calming investors unnerved by the
prospect of a recession.  .N 
    At 8:17 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 1.03% at 26,304. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.98% at 2,918, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 1.20% at
7,690.5.
