WARSAW, Dec 30 (Reuters) - The following are news
stories, press reports and events that may affect Poland's
financial markets on Monday. ALL TIMES GMT (Poland: GMT + 1
hour):
    
    EU PRESIDENCY
    The government intends to organise a discussion on extending
the Reconstruction Fund during its presidency in the European
Union Council, which begins on 1 January, the Dziennik Gazeta
Prawna daily reported.
    
    The minister supervising Poland's preparations for the EU
presidency, Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, said that during the
presidency Warsaw wants to fight for money for the East Shield,
seek to open the first cluster of negotiations with Ukraine,
protect Polish farmers and free the entire EU from Russian
energy sources, Gazeta Wyborcza daily reported.
    
    PARTY FINANCING
    On Monday, the National Electoral Commission (PKW) will deal
with implementing the Supreme Court ruling regarding the
financing of the Law and Justice (PiS) election committee,
Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.
    
    ARMS
    Contracts for equipment for the Polish Army concluded in
2024 are worth over 160 billion zlotys and the Polish arms
industry has signed contracts for over 50 billion zlotys,
Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
    
    ECONOMIC GROWTH
    Economists estimate that the Polish economy will grow by
about 2.8% in 2024, with consumption being the key driver and
expected to remain so in 2025, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
    
    STOCK EXCHANGE
    In 2024, the only company to conduct a public offering and
debut on the main market in Warsaw was Zabka Group  ZAB.WA ,
while eight companies moved from the NewConnect market and
brokerages hope that the Polish primary market will finally
follow the West, where recovery has gained momentum,
