India's Zee Media jumps on upbeat Q2 results

** Shares of Zee Media Corp Ltd  ZEEN.NS  jump as much as
nearly 17 pct to 29.90 rupees; mark their biggest intraday pct
gain in over three weeks
    ** The news broadcasting services co posted over nine-fold
rise in Sept-qtr net profit at 172.5 mln rupees ($2.33 mln) on

    ** Second-qtr revenue jumps 35.5 pct to 1.69 bln rupees
    ** More than 2.5 mln shares change hands, 9.2 times their
30-day moving avg of 274,587 shares
    ** As of last close, Zee Media's market cap rose by about 2
bln rupees after results were announced 
    ** Up to last close, stock down 45.3 pct this year
