Brief: Birmingham International updates on subscription agreements, trading suspension

June 6 (Reuters) - Birmingham International Holdings Ltd  2309.HK : 
 * (1)status of resumption proposal; (2)proposed capital reorganisation 
   and change in board lot size; (3)proposed open offer of offer shares on the 
   basis of one offer share for every two new shares held on the open offer 
   record date; 
 * On 6 June 2016, company entered into the subscription agreements with the 
   investor 
 * Investor will subscribe shares, being 3.13 billion new shares at hk$0.08 per 
   share at total subscription price of hk$250 million 
 * Pursuant to subscription agreements, investor will subscribe the new 
   convertible notes in the principal amount of hk$150 million 
 * Trading in the shares will remain suspended until further notice 
 * Investor is co incorporated in British Virgin Islands owned by wealthy 
   associates international
