Beazley sets March 4 deadline for Zurich Insurance to finalise offer

Feb 16 - UK speciality insurer Beazley BEZG.L on Monday said that Zurich Insurance ZURN.S now has until March 4 to either announce a firm offer to acquire the company or walk away. Earlier in February, Beazley agreed to recommend a sweetened 8 billion pound ($10.91 billion) takeover by Zurich, if a firm offer was made.
