airBaltic Statement on the Continued Impact of COVID-19

Riga. On 14 March 2020, the Government of the Republic of Latvia imposed additional precautionary measures to limit the spread of Covid-19. The restrictions included the cancellation of international passenger transport through airports and ports, and by means of bus and rail transport, as of 17 March 2020 until 14 April 2020 (inclusive). As a result, all airBaltic international connections will be temporarily suspended starting on 17 March 2020 until 14 April 2020 (inclusive), including airBaltic services from Estonia and Lithuania.
 
In addition to previously announced major proactive measures to temporarily reduce capacity and workforce costs, further capacity cuts are being considered by the company.
Due to the exceptional circumstances caused by the spread of COVID-19, it is currently impossible to predict the final impact of the outbreak. However, as at today's date, airBaltic is well positioned to withstand a significant market shock.
