Highlights:

Bellzone Mining (LON:BZM) - bought @ 68.5p while hearing company present. Political risk an issue, although they say not. Could be interesting with a 3-4 year view.

Avanti Communications Group Plc (LON:AVN) - powered up but gave back a bit. A strong hold for me.

Alterian (LON:ALN) - ended strongly, another strong hold for me.

National Grid (LON:NG.) - seems to have recovered from that ridiculous article in The Sunday Telegraph. Was it a story put out by a hedge fund wanting to short or something, or was the paper short of column inches. Here, see wha they said for yourself:

Shanta Gold (LON:SHG) - consolidates and today it consolidated upwards. I will be patient a little longer.

Telecom Plus (LON:TEP) - continues to push back up towards £4. I hold for the 5% yield and the possibiltiy of a bid.

Disappointment of the day was the realisation that Carluccio's (LON:CARL) has been bid for. I sold prior to going on holiday. Oh dear.

So, all in all a nice up day but not very exciting.
