I haven't posted in a while, and that's really bad form. From now on I'll try and post twice a week minimum!
So you probably want to know what we've been working on. I'm going to stick my neck out and let you know that we are creating a series of new features - the first of which is an event calendar. Investors are constantly meeting each other and meeting company management, organising mini-conferences or training seminars. So we thought Events would be pretty handy to those that organise them.
- We'll be including Google Maps & Postcodes for easy directions...
- An ical formatted Calendar Export Feature - so you can add it to your desktop easily
- Attendee administration... so you can message all attendees
- Image uploads, comment forms and other goodies.
Any other features desired - let us know... I'll give previews in this column.
We will also be going live with another Stockopedia Game... this time, we've been listening to what you all want in the forum - and it seems that short term, single stock competitions are popular around the web... We publicised a 3 stock, 3 month game at the World Money Show, and all our registered users will be invited to take part. It will be live before the end of the month for a December 1st start.
But better than this, we'll be letting everyone create their own customised games and challenges soon after that. Similarly to events, let us know any features you'd like to see and we'll do our best to incorporate them.
