Morning all!

Cake Box Holdings ( Cake Box Holdings (LON:CBOX) ) – 167p – £67m – PER 16.3

Results For The 12 Months To End March 2019 – Revenue up 33% (from £12.7m to £16.9m), PBT up 14% (from £3.3m to £3.8m), Cash up 23% (from £2.5m to £3.1m), Adjusted EPS up 14% to 7.9p and the Final Dividend is up 50%. Pleased with current trading, strong pipeline, target is 2 new stores a month.

Still reckon there's value here, perhaps – Just wondering if they can keep up this momentum when the majority of the rest of the high street is mostly struggling!

CentralNic ( CentralNic (LON:CNIC) ) – 63p – £113m – PER 14.2

Trading Update And Bond Issue – 50m Euro Bond issued (Euribor +7% p/a) – FY to be ahead of market consensus.

Could be value here I am going to do a bit more research.

Porvair ( Porvair (LON:PRV) ) – 564p – £259m – PER 22.2

Results For The 6 Months To End May 2019 – Revenue up 21%, PBT up 41%, Adjusted Basic EPS up 36%, Net Cash up from £2.2m to £3.2m and the Interum Dividend is up 6%. H2 Order books robust and prospects are encouraging.

Would like to see updated Broker notes here in relation to next years growth forecasts as they are single digit at present, which rather puts me off.

Spectra Systems ( Spectra Systems (LON:SPSY) ) – 137p – £63m – PER 19.2

AGM – Lack Of Quorum – Never seen this before.

I have never seen this before and have no idea of the implications.

As always, all comment most welcome!

My morning smallcap tweet: MySale fire sale as sales fail

MySale (LON:MYSL), Nektan (LON:NKTN), Spectra Systems (LON:SPSY)

MySale (MYSL) Everything must go! Or maybe not. Hoists for sale flag for all or parts to raise additional capital to support the ongoing restructuring and rationalisation. Trading still challenging. A$1.96m write off of asset that is no longer deemed recoverable, no cash effect of F/C. Costs cut from A$74m in FY18 to A$35m. May need extra short term cash.
Nektan (NKTN) target of achieving EBITDA breakeven in FY19 will not be achieved due to the slower trends experienced in Q3 continuing into Q4. Q1 Confident of Q1-20 rev grown on Q4. Which is what it said about Q4 after Q3.
Spectra Systems (SPSY) does not have enough shareholder votes to achieve a quorum at its AGM. Does not say AGM is postponed, as it has before.

Unfortunately when I see Cake Box mentioned I just think of Patisserie Holdings (LON:CAKE) and remember what a total mess they got themselves into. Different business I know, just rings alarm bells....

StatPro (LON:SOG) announce a partnership to develop Risk and Performance Attribution capabilities for portfolio managers through J.P. Morgan's flagship data and analytics platform. No financials are disclosed, though this is obviously a big name. In a trading update early this year I was put off by unexciting revenue growth and recurring revenue being up only 4%.

SysGroup (LON:SYS) acquire Hub Network Services which delivered revenue and profit before tax of £1.84m and £0.22m last year; an acquisition cost of £1,45m does not seem expensive. Looking at the last interim results from SysGroup (LON:SYS) revenue and EBITDA were up quite strongly... but I'm not sure how much of this was organic due to the Rockford acquisition.

Chemring (LON:CHG) disposes of their loss-making pyrotechnics division for a nominal sum

Re your comment on Spectra, I would just add that this is not the first time that the AGM has been unable to vote on motions due to a lack of a quorum. Nevertheless the Company seems to have been making very good progress!
The contracts they announce are not dissimilar to other Company announcements and are usually awarded after some guidance that that work was continuing in those areas.
We might expect some news about the Chines Cigarette business before the year end!

Here is a link to an article which extends the information provided in the recently announced RNS regarding the development of upgraded security features in polymer bank notes. I'm not sure how long this link will remain valid!
