Hi All. I am still (sadly) hanging on to my rather small Polymetal International (LON:POLY) holding despite about a 90%+ drop from their peak - I didn't get out in time and now don't see any point in selling. I have always been reasonably happy with this company's approach, asset base, results and dividend policy. Clearly, it is still sitting on a lot of gold and silver resources in Kazakhstan and Russia.
I am now wondering whether they might be worth a look and was wondering what how risky they really are over a 3-5 year perspective? Is it simply a case of a few years+ of a rough ride due to sanctions (I am guessing they might struggle to sell their produce and institutional investors will hesitate to get back in)? Or is there a real risk of the Kremlin grabbing their Russian mines? Or them delisting from the LSE?
Would be great to hear the views of other investors here. Thanks!
