Mello Monday show on the 8th February....Farewell to an outstanding leader !

We had two shows in January and the Mello team now intend to provide quality investor content every fortnight. There will be Interviews with leading fund managers and investors, company presentations, educational insights and lots of panel sessions.

This Monday we are joined on the show by a top performing CEO of a company that Mello conference regulars will know exceptionally well….There is absolutely no doubt that over the past 15 years David Hornsby of Ideagen has been one of the most successful leaders and entrepreneurs that the AIM growth company market and before that on Plus Markets has seen… Indeed the growth has been amazing as it has gone from being a sub million pound tiddler on Plus to the nearly £750 million market cap that Ideagen is today.

Any investors that could see the investment case and had confidence in the company David was trying to build when he presented at Mello Central in 2011 and Mello Beckenham in early 2012 would now be at least 25 times the richer.

David is sadly saying goodbye and moving into retirement however we are sure there is still another chapter still to be penned and David will share the next inevitable entrepreneurial journey with Mello viewers and also reveal how he sets about delivering amazing returns for investors…

As one door closes another one opens and on this show we are introducing the new CEO at SCS and covering the trading update they have just released.

Every Mello Monday ends with the very popular MelloBASH (Buy, Avoid, Sell or Hold) and at our next one this coming Monday 8th February Paul Scott, who does the SCVR will be on the panel. He will also be joined for the first time by Bruce Packard who was a sell side research analyst and regularly attends our Mello events. Alan Charlton and Kevin Taylor are well known to BASH followers

Here is the line up so far for the BASH

Mello BASH, including Paul Scott, Alan Charlton, Kevin Taylor and Bruce Packard. Companies which may be analysed include Bank of Georgia (BGEO), Xpediator (XPD), Rosenblatt (RBGP)

4th Feb '21

We will be running a couple of polls during the show in between speakers so do let us know if you have a question that you would like to see if Mello investors agree with you? Probably the more controversial the better and it will be anonymous of course and we reserve the right to use it or not.

5th Feb '21

We need suggestions for companies to cover in the BASH session so if you want to mention them here we will look to add them in the coming shows. We like marmite type stocks and especially ones where there are quite a few different ways to evaluate the future potential

May I suggest Sylvania Platinum (LON:SLP) for the bash. Certainly a favourite with many Stocko peeps, ticks a lot of boxes on fundamentals, and though the price has had a brilliant run lately it still doesn't appear to reflect those fundamental criteria.

Jack holds, John Rosier does too I believe, but if you want controversy have it on when Paul is on, he knows nothing about this sector and he may see what he's been missing.

I would be interested to see what the panelists considered a fair value for it along with their buy, sell, hold, avoid or get the truck out.

Yes SLP gets suggested quite a lot and it is on our list.....I probably need to cover it when Jack or John are on the panel to allow a good introduction on the company and let the rest of the panel look closely at it.

Paul and Jack will not be on the same show as we have a late finish and one of them will want an early start on the SCVR the next morning

Cap Xx (LON:CPX) it’s foreign on AIM which will immediately put a load of people off but would make a good BASH or game changer.

Bango (LON:BGO) , about to become profitable, worth a look.

Pleased to see Rbg Holdings (LON:RBGP) (I hold) being discussed, they had a very good update this week. Do you know who's presenting the case?

I'd very much like to see both.

LOOP is another on our list. I cannot say which panelist is doing a detailed review of RBGP but do not think you will be disappointed as it will be detailed.

In actual fact we have invited the directors along to watch in the audience. Then on top of that no doubt having seen in our recordings how good the shows are RBG Holdings have booked to present themselves on the 8th March so plenty of coverage for you if a prospective or current shareholder.

Heehee - that could have been written anytime in the last few years!

I agree though it would be a good call for BASH, if it hasn't already been covered.

Except this time, we can see the money coming in :) They made a couple of purchases that set profitability back, but all starting to come together now. Obviously, some others have a different view, that's what makes a market after all, but the price is starting to rise nicely :)

Following on from some interesting discussions recently an interesting poll may be something on shorting e.g Do you have any sympathy for hedge funds re gamestop? Or Do you think the ability to sell assets you don't own really help markets function well to the benefit of participants? I'm sure this could be worded better by someone more eloquent.

I would like to see EQLS in a BASH session. I hold because I think they are building a challenger operation whose platform will support future growth while improving margins. The market is telling me I have been completely wrong so far but each time I look at it I see improvement. I bought more recently as my belief that it has great potential remains undimmed.

EQLS is another good shout and will be added to our list.
