We had two big shows just before Christmas and the Mello team now intend to provide great investor content every fortnight. There will be Interviews with leading fund managers and investors, company presentations, educational insights and lots of panel sessions.

Every Mello Monday ends with the very popular MelloBASH (Buy, Avoid, Sell or Hold) and at our next one this coming Monday 25th January Jack Brumby, who does the SCVR with Paul Scott will be on the panel. He will also be joined for the first time by Gilbert Ellacombe who was a city analyst for many years before his recent retirement and regularly attends our Mello events. Leon Boros and Kevin Taylor are well known to BASH followers

There are lots of interesting sessions and each show lasts 3.5 hours but for those with limited stamina all annual pass holders and individual ticket holders will get sent the recording 24 hours later once you have registered. On this show I highly recommend the interview with Lord John Lee who is actually going to tell us about an issue he has with takeovers

Would it be an idea to send out the questionnaire a couple of days after rather than at the end when only those still watching, who may or may not have seen the whole thing, can do it ?

Great meetings, I would encourage anyone to give it a try.

That is quite a good idea Doug but do you think attendees will remember everything and want to take the time or be disturbed two days later?

After each one about 40% do complete the exit survey which is a very high response rate apparently. We are very fortunate that Mello is a community and the attendees seem to value making the most of it.

Hi David,

I agree with Doug on this. I rarely watch the whole four hours or so in one sitting on the night, but catch up with the parts I missed when the link is sent out a couple of days later, so there are parts of the show that I simply can't comment on straight away.

That said, as a former market researcher, a 40% response rate really is very good indeed.
