Over the past few days the Novacyt Human Resources department has placed over 30 adverts for new positions.

I have been an very active researcher for Novacyt since my 1st investment back in February 2020

My research efforts have been helped by the London South East share chat forum, to whom I am extremely thankful

The main research file was last updated 11th April 2021 (21st edition!)

However the key section of the research is Novacyt Career Opportunities (see pages 37-38), over 30 recent career opportunities

I hold too, In fact I can't stop buying these and they are now my major holding. There is a very good chat board on LSE which explains why. Basically, they are supplying, they say, 150 countries, they provide what would appear to be the best PCR covid tests in the world (they can detect any strain, including the new French, Lannion, strain, which apparently other pcr testers can not). They are heavily into the NHS and are recruiting like mad. As they supply internationally, the fact that we are ahead of the game in G.B. with inoculations shouldnt be an issue. Their machines can do more than simply covid tests so will be useful to the NHS for other gene sequencing.cancer detections purposes - and they have a lot installed. They have a nice big cash pile £150,000,000 I think (not sure Stocko is up to date with this. ) and the technical stuff, rsi, macd, fib, trendlines, all stack up for a strong rise. You may not agree with my analysis so do your own -but I'm now more heavily into this stock then I've ever been.

Hi abiggins, I hope you're right, because Novacyt is now 18% of my portfolio. But it was 30% of my portfolio a few months ago (unwise, I know) and I haven't sold any Novacyt shares since then!

Sorry, that's not quite correct - I did sell some of my Novacyt shares a month ago at a profit, but I still have 18% of my portfolio in them.

I also held them earlier in the year and there my biggest winner this year. I am now awaiting for the price to recover and I will be buying again

Broker ests net profit to fall to 29m (23) and 17m (24). Valuation of 3* PE becomes approx 24* although they could buy back shares hence reducing PE. My DCF using consensus says fair value. Question is whether they can offset this huge profit decline.

I am sorry, but what numbers are you quoting?

In their latest trading updated they have reported (unaudited) FY20E revenues of €311.6m (FY19A:€13.1m) with FY20E EBITDA above €210m. Net margin is expected to be at 80% and the company says pre-tax profit for 2020 is €207m and forecasts €171.5m in 2021 and €56.2 in 2022. The source is here https://novacyt.com/wp-content...

thx for the SPAngel note, i had missed that. On Bloomberg the 2 brokers that cover it (Oddo & Numis) have average of revenues 127m (22), 85m (23), net profit 62m (22), 28m (23). Looks like these analysts may be assuming Covid PCR goes to zero.

I think the key to this stocks valuation is, what they do with the cash pile. `Plus, the rate of annual decline in testing

Your not going to vaccinate someone who gets off the airplane, arrives through the tunnel or off a boat. The virus and numerous future forms will not be going away so testing will be here forever as a new part of life. Will just get better, cheaper, quicker i.e. more efficient. Market will get hubris now all vaccinated and the suns out, but come November and covid reasserts itself or if someone infects the underground then the testers will be back in fashion.

On a different track Shares have plugged £CRMA which bought a company making a key component of the vaccine and have commercialised it hopefully.

Hopefully we just get on with life and treat it like the 'flue' and if a 'spike' occurs then the authorities can locate it and shut it down fairly quickly or reduce the damage. No more lockdowns but more intelligent focus and systems.

If you don't have a passport, little test card, whatever then expect to be tested and pay for it. Not in pubs but certainly at transport hubs.

Latest trading update has sent Novacyt Sa (LON:NCYT) tumbling nearly 27% down - over reaction or should we be worried do you think?

seems to be settling around 470p (not sure of the technical term). I hold and have just topped up to average down a little

Now 430p, they were suspended on my platform for about 10 minutes but trading is back now.

I really hope this share will stabilise soon... decided not to sell because I thought I missed the chance, and am now sadly watching it sink every day. This is one of the dangers of momentum investing, I guess.

Horrified at the price drop! I looked when they were "cheap" after falling back to the 700s. I am thanking my lucky stars that I didn't vaporise £xs here... for now.
