Good morning! I'm slightly late this morning, as have been on a mercy mission to take a friend to Hospital for an operation, and give some moral support. So apologies for any inconvenience.

Update on Chinese investor evening

As always, it was a marvellous investor evening in Beckenham last night, at the monthly "Mello" event organised by David Stredder. I should mention that David is a very successful private investor, specialising in small caps, who I've known & shared research with for almost 15 years now. He started these investor evenings a few years ago, and they have become increasingly popular, such that around 80 investors now attend each month. The format is drinks first, then one or two speakers (usually companies of interest) give presentations, then we have dinner.

David organises these events himself, and there is nothing to stop anyone else from doing the same thing locally to you. In fact, that's what myself and a friend are doing - we're starting a quarterly investor evening (on a similar format) here in Brighton/Hove, so please message me (if you haven't already) if you would like to be added to the mailing list for that.

It would be great to see similar social groups springing up over the country, so why not think about starting an investor group in your area? It's so easy with the internet enabling us to all be connected.
