Last week I was feeling pleased with Volex (LON:VLX) - results on Thursday were well received and it ended the week on a 10 year high. I bought in January 2020 after my own research, not having looked at it before but noticing it as a top pick by subscribers in the Stocko Challenge.

This afternoon, being too damp for the garden, I have revisited that list to see how we did. You can find it here:

https://www.stockopedia.com/challenge/2020/top-picks/?region=-§or=-&risk=-&size=-&style=-&entrants=subs

I took the 25 most popular and worked out increase or decrease from close 31/12/19 to now and list my findings below - EPIC and company followed by % change:

TSLA Tesla Inc 645
SLP Sylvania Platinum 242
SDI SDI 165
VLX Volex 152
GAW Games Workshop 86
RCH Reach 80
GAN GAN 76
SOM Somero Enterprises Inc 72
KAPE Kape Technologies 71
MSFT Microsoft 65
PLUS Plus500 57
LIO Liontrust Asset Mgt 42
SOLI Solid State 39
AUG Augean 29
WIZZ Wizz Air Holdings 27
BOO Boohoo 10
BUR Burford Capital 8
JDG Judges Scientific 7
RRE RockRose Energy -1 (t/o)
SOS Sosandar -12
AAZ Anglo Asian Mining -5
RDW Redrow -14
LLOY Lloyds Banking -26
JET2 Jet2 -27
HUR Hurricane E'gy -96

The average gain was. +68% (even excluding Tesla's massive leap it was 44.5%) and these compare to the ASX up 4.6% and the AIM AS up 28.3%.

So well done to those who picked these -my own entries returned but 19%. I have put this up for your interest - I realise there may be some prices distorted by rights issues etc. so please say if they are wrong.
