I was primarily interested in natural resources companies as I have a little background and understanding of geology. Have gradually cast my net, looking for companies that either display strong growth or recovery characteristics. I am also a sucker for a decent yield. So I guess I'd call it a mixed bag. 

I have funds / trusts across a wide array of geographies and sectors - I try and cycle in and out of top performers on an annual or longer basis. I do rely on sites like trustnet to do some additional research.
