Biography
British national, but have spent the majority of my career overseas. I work typically for global businesses and specialize in performance improvement and turnarounds. Married with a young son, I have been self-investing for approximately 15 years.
Investment strategy
Active investor - learning every day. I split my portfolio between FTSE large cap dividend stocks (35%), small/mid-cap growth stocks (35%) and for themes I want exposure to, but don't understand, I invest in highly rated investment trusts - specifically in healthcare, technology and Emerging Markets (30%). I recycle dividends from half of my portfolio into growth stocks as a general rule. I like buying profitable, low debt and high growth momentum stocks on pullbacks and I typically hold for a long time.
