Biography

I like my shares just like my steaks; on sale. 

Bargain investor looking to exploit value opportunities. I am attracted to companies that present with solid quality and value metrics alongside strong liquidity ratios to add to a diversified portfolio. Portfolio balanced 70:30 between passive funds (70% - to mitigate idiosyncratic risk - 30% active funds, ETFs, bargain companies). 

I am not interested in speculative microCRAP companies and am very wary of momentum traps. 

Investment strategy

Novice to investing (part-time interest since 2015 - active interest since 2021). Attempting to see if I can actively beat low-cost passive funds; weighting of portfolio stands at 70:30, this will be readjusted dependent upon consistent performance.
