A retired Director of a Construction Materials testing Company I believe that numbers indicate more than anything else, the future direction of share prices and Indices. I have noted how most Analysts and Fund Managers fail spectacularly to meet their forecasts so I ignore them. I believe in a Value approach backed up by a minimum quality level and recent momentum. The Stockopedia Ranking system suits me perfectly and I have achieved at least 25% pa returns using it over the last 6 years or so.

Value Approach using numbers only. No rumours, no forecasts, no hype, no newspaper tips, nothing more. I choose Stocks with low ratios PER, PSR, PBV etc and now Stockopedias Value Ratings. I add to the mix a minimum Quality requirement (Stockopedias Q) and recent momentum actions (M), I keep each Stock for at least a year unless some unforeseeable disaster appears.
