I am a private investor age 88 so I am not looking for too much buy and hold. I recently switched to technical analysis to assist in share selection and, also, to give buy and sell signals. I am pleased so far with the results and the constant involvement with the market

I have developed into a trader because I need monthly income. I do not day-trade but occasionally will buy and sell in one day dependent on the market movements. I use technical analysis for all my selections and have developed a custom screen for buy signs but use graphs and moving averages for sell signals
