Biography
Committed value investor and freelance writer, regularly writing about the principles set out by the godfather of value investing, Benjamin Graham.
As well as providing a regular column for Stockopedia, Rupert writes on a daily basis for the Motley Fool, Seeking Alpha and ValueWalk.com.
Rupert holds qualifications from the Chartered Institute For Securities & Investment and the CFA Society of the UK, including the Private Client Investment Advice & Management exam.
He's always on the look out for that undiscovered gem, combing through balance sheets and press releases, trying to seek out value in some of the market's most unloved sectors.
Investment strategy
My strategy is split into three parts: 1) Deep value, which focuses on companies that are trading at a deeply discounted valuation; 2) Quality & growth and; 3) Income. I believe in using a relatively concentrated portfolio, with an emphasis on cash. Cash flows and management ownership are the first two places I look when considering a business.
