Biography

Retired stockbroker (analyst/Head of Research/Head of Regional Research of Far Eastern equities) - mainly Japan but latterly SE Asia. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Now run my own "pension fund". 

Investment strategy

LTBH. I try to stay fully (or almost fully) invested. I don't believe in market timing. I don't believe in technical analysis. I run a pretty concentrated portfolio. Top  ten holdings are 64% total. but I have around 20% in small cap where I concentrate my analysis. My "style" includes heavily over or underweighting sectors (eg oil 18%, mining 21%, financials zero). 5 biggest holdings are Apple, Diageo, Shell, Rio and BHP). 5 largest AIM or small cap holdings are NTQ, BVXP, RWS, PAY, ABDP.
