Investing for old age. Putting aside a regular amount each month, plus reinvesting dividends. "Buy" decisions are taken once a reasonable tranche of funds is available to invest. Sell decisions are much trickier, but I try not to tinker too much. Many of the stocks I have sold have gone on to do much better, whilst some of the stocks I have continued to hold have given nasty surprises.

I intended to have a balanced porfolio, but differential performance and an aversion to tinkering has foiled this strategy.
