I have recently retired (early) from senior roles in investment banking having worked for two large global IBs. This included significant international travel working with top executives, advisors, lawyers and debt/equity providers (banks, hedge funds, private equity, etc.). I have considerable experience of operating across global capital markets including London, Wall Street, Asia and Europe having completed most types of transactions including highly complex debt financing, M&A, equity issues and placements, bond issues, strategic, financial and operational restructurings, transformations, divestments, derivatives, etc.

I have also gained an MBA from a top business school and a doctorate in finance (Valuation) which included study and research at INSEAD, Wharton and Chicago. I have been a visiting lecturer in finance and strategy at various universities and business schools.

I remain active in retirement through playing sport, walking my wonderful Labradors, writing a management and finance book, undertaking some charity work, seeing lots more of family and friends, and trying to be an (intelligent) investor (Benjamin Graham remains a prominent reference point for me).
