I look for growth and value stocks, I have some favourite authors on the subject and often review their strategies to help me on my long term journey to succesful investing. These include Lynch, Buffett, Slater and Burns aka the Naked Trader to name but a few. I have a medium to high risk tolerance, that said I look to minimise risk with stop losses and fundamentally 'strong' companies (there is the odd exception).
