A retired lawyer, living off state pension, annuities, and my SIPP via one off income draw downs.
Investment strategy
I am retired using a SIPP with occasional one off draw downs.
At my stage I am a 'balanced' investor.
I hold collectives rather than individual shares.
I have a bias:
* towards Growth, USA via ETF tracker, infrastructure, short duration bonds and global & Asia exc Japan ITs
* against Value, EM, Europe, bond funds
I had a prejudice against Japan, but in 2017 bought in some.
Europe: I am wary of the Euro/ EU. I used to hold a DAX30 tracker which did well, but sold in early 2018.
Why use Stockopedia if I do not buy individual shares?
(1) to research and monitor investment trusts and ETFs
(2) to monitor the market e.g. Warning signals of S&P 500 etc falling below 50/ 200 Day Moving Average.
