Concentrate only on the share price and its performance. I like steady growth not volatility. I only buy companies that are already trading profitably, no start ups, good free cash flow, low or zero debt, minimum historical share price rise of approx 30% pa, international sales, engineering good - tech bad, stop loss 15% take profit 25%, trading price cheap DeGiro but Alliance Trust better for low liquidity stocks. Got kicked out of Beauforts they dont like Thailand. Have SIPP with Alliance Trust
