    Biography

    I am a Trend Trader and try to put into practice the teachings of Stan Weinstein, William O'Neil, Mark Minervini et al. I recently semi-retired to focus on investing & trading.

    Investment strategy

    Trend Trader looking for asymmetric gains. I tend to buy shares in Stage 2 that are breaking out of a consolidation areas / side trends.  Ideally, I look for position trades then I can add to - so after seeing a technical set-up, I review at the fundamentals and analyse the strength of the trend as a product of an annualise percentage gain. Relative strength against the share's benchmark (usually small cap) and the sector is usually a deciding factor.
