I used online filters to get my shortlist and then scraped the data and put it into my own valuation model to determine whether to invest or not.

I haven’t changed my investing ‘rules’ but it has made my whole process a lot more efficient. I like the composite metrics like Quality Rank as they are useful shortcuts to getting a shortlist of candidates. The company StockReport helps me to quickly determine whether to invest or not. I don’t have to export the data into my models anymore.

I’m able to make more investments, so therefore diversify better, because I can cover the market more quickly and find more opportunities. I’m also making better investments because I am finding more companies which are higher quality.
