How did you pick investments before you used Stockopedia?
I did not have a structured approach, but I read magazines and investment reviews in the newspapers for ideas. I was in equity sales previously so had an idea about how the markets work.
Has using Stockopedia changed your approach to investing?
What I find really useful is having all the key information for investing in a company all in once place on the StockReport. I can look at the stock chart and I like the StockRank indicators. I also use the News page to read the latest company news and the discussion page is great as everyone seems so knowledgeable. It's given me the confidence to be slightly more adventurous.

What's your advice for investors that are just starting out?
Try and read as much as you can on any company you are interested in, and invest in a handful of stocks you like. It is only through having money invested that you really understand the various metrics and what drives performance. I think Stockopedia is an excellent resource as the commentators all know what they are talking about - you can agree or disagree with what they are saying, but they all have a reason for their views.
