How did you pick investments before you used Stockopedia?
My experience of investing stretches over 40 years, on and off. Until recently I have never had a systematic, dedicated approach. I varied between investing in unit trusts, a managed stockbroker account and penny stocks.
For the last four years I have managed our investments myself. My present approach is to hold one third in investment trusts and the remainder in UK equities. This method has proved successful. I spend rather more time than I would wish in following our equity investments. But there is no magic formula – without a certain amount of research I would obviously be shooting in the dark.
