How did you pick investments before you used Stockopedia?
I used to belong to an Investment Club but some years ago after trialling Stockopedia, I left. Subsequently the club split. Two others and I have operated as a small investment group that, until Covid, met monthly. Currently we correspond by e-mail.

With a moderate pension and no bank interest, I have been able to secure good dividends - which at my time of life are more important than growth (although maybe the gambler in me has seen the occasional change of heart). Having recently moved home and currently adding an extension, the capital accrued has enabled me to achieve my goal financially.
What's your advice for investors that are just starting out?
We all have our favourite shares, but don’t get blinded by previous loyalty and look at each transaction purely on current merits.
